Do you seek to find stillness in your mind from the concerns and business of life? Linking a quiet mind with a focus on the breath provides a time when we can find inner balance and peace. You then can add to the quiet mind gentle yoga poses that help improve balance and flexibility.
Mindfulness and movement classes are held weekly in the parish hall on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-10:30. The class is led by Jeannette McDonald a member of Christ Church and a certified yoga instructor.
No experience with yoga is necessary. Bring an open mind and a yoga mat. (There is no fee for the classes.)
If you have any physical challenges this class probably is not a good place to start. However, we are able to offer an alternative chair yoga class you may benefit from. Email email@example.com for more information.
